How It Works

The PayInn solution reduces the number of actions needed to move crypto to Fiat currencies. Your customer simply copies and pastes a link into their crypto wallet, approves the transaction in their Wallet and you receive AUD in your bank account, same day. It’s that simple.

Start

Customer clicks “Pay with Crypto” option on your website and opens their Crypto Wallet

QR Code

Customer scans the QR code from their Crypto Wallet. Alternatively, the customer can copy and paste a link. The customer sees the relevant AUD to pay you. The relevant amount of Crypto that will be deducted is also shown.

Approved Transactions

Customer approves the transaction within their Crypto Wallet

Confirmations

Merchant and Customer will receive real-time confirmation of transaction approval and the amount

End

Your eCommerce site then “completes” the transaction as “paid”.

About David

David is a seasoned Payments Industry Professional with over 20 years’ experience in developing and deploying technology to solve complex client problems.

As an Institutional Banker, he developed and implemented groundbreaking solutions for Government and many of Australia’s largest companies. His experience extends to commercial, legal and technical negotiations.

Clients include whole of State Government banking mandates, Australia’s largest ticketing agency, Australia’s largest Toll Road operator, Federal Government departments, Private Health Insurance funds and Australia’s premier sporting stadium.

David is a foundation team member and shareholder in Fintech company DataMesh, who have developed and certified a cloud based Merchant Acquiring switch and proprietary android EFTPOS terminal software and are actively deploying solutions in market. Servicing a suite of Institutional clients and major Australian Banks, DataMesh works with retailers and acquirers to enhance their relationships and capabilities.

Now an independent consultant, David advises on the full spectrum of Transaction Banking, including Payments (inward and outward) and Liquidity Management for major enterprises requiring specialist advice and knowledge.

His experience has included senior customer facing roles at ANZ and Commonwealth Bank and the world of Fintech. Holding a degree in eCommerce, David has lectured Information Systems for Business at Deakin University’s Faculty of Business and Law as part of their MBA / MPA programs.

Utility Company Seeks To Reduce Merchant Acquiring Costs

A Mid-range utility company with inward card payments of $500m p.a. Prides itself on simple, competitive pricing. They sought to reduce their Merchant Acquiring costs, but in order to do so with their brand promise, do so without surcharging their customers a payment fee.

We arranged a new Acquirer who can route Visa and Mastercard Debit Card transactions via EFTPOS for significant fee savings. The transition to the new Acquirer was smooth and invisible to their customers. The client saved .020% on a $500m for a bottom line benefit of ~$1M .p.a.

Online Retailer Seeks To Reduce Merchant Acquiring Costs

 A high growth online retailer, who was turning over $600m p.a. was seeking cost savings and fraud prevention. Arrangements were put in place years ago and were expensive, prone to fraud and had a high number of declined transactions. Rapid growth had always seen reviewing payments as a lower priority.

Two solutions were presented to the client.

  1. To reduce fees, they moved Merchant Acquirers to one that can provide Least Cost Routing online
  2. To reduce Fraud and increase transaction approvals, we engaged them with an online a fraud management that drastically increased declined / abandoned transactions and took responsibility for chargebacks.

The fee savings alone were 0.5% for a saving of $3m p.a. Increased transaction approvals and eradication of chargebacks delivered a 1% increase in sales for extra revenue of ~$6m p.a.

A prestige car dealership sought the ability to accept Crypto payments but wanted to receive AUD to increase sales.

We provided a discreet solution that allowed high net worth customers to pay both deposits and balance of purchase price instantly, from their own crypto wallet.

No registration was required by customers, all transactions were in real time and could be managed discreetly with a turnkey portal solution. All settlements are in AUD and are received same day / next day by the dealership.
